K3 Hires Retail Fashion Expert
15 February 2007, Didcot -- K3, the UK's largest provider of Microsoft Dynamics business solutions, has appointed fashion business expert, Vanessa Priestley to New Sector Manager for Fashion further strengthening its expertise in this sector.
Vanessa said, “I was attracted to K3 for its broad retail experience. In particular, the range of solutions it can offer fashion retailers; critical needs over and above EPOS, such as visual catalogues, personnel shopping and mobile stock checking. K3 is at the forefront in the development of these systems, and it is great to be a part of that.”
Vanessa has been in retail for her entire career, starting at Marks & Spencer as a sales assistant, moving into systems and then onto House of Fraser where she was Business Analyst - Customer Service Management Systems. Most recently, she was IT manager at Monsoon where she proved her in-depth knowledge of the IT needs of fashion retailers’.
Reporting to the IT Director at Monsoon, Vanessa had overall responsibility for managing the delivery of systems implementations. This involved a number of external companies providing the development, hardware or support services and a number of departments internally to complete testing and implementation. This ranged from large-scale new projects to software releases, small developments and implementations.
