Dreams get into bed with Alpha Landsteinar
The world’s leading bed specialist, Dreams Plc is overhauling its financial and retail management systems with a software solution from Microsoft Business Solutions partner, K3.
Dreams selected K3 because of its knowledge and understanding in the retail market. Brian Horsfield, IT Director of Dream Plc commented, “K3 have proven expertise in the retail market, they understood the business needs of a growing company. The team was easy to get along with and seemed to speak our language.”
K3 will implement the Microsoft Navision retail, distribution and financial system at Dreams head office. The solution will then be rolled out to the existing 100 stores and more as the company expands. Initially, there will be on average one till per store with 140 users across the company.
The company is currently using a bespoke system which will not support business growth. In addition, customer service is a priority for Dreams and, with the new system providing information at their fingertips, order processing and tracking will be easier and more efficient.
Dreams have recently been awarded ‘Furniture Retailer of the Year’ for the third time. This obviously highlights the success of the business and they intend to keep on growing.
