22 September 2009
Following the announcement on 22 September 2009, that Microsoft has acquired the AX assets of LS Retail, K3, the UK’s largest provider of Microsoft Dynamics and long-standing LS Retail partner, talks about the major opportunities this acquisition offers to retailers of all types and sizes.
Having worked closely with LS Retail to develop and deliver retail solutions to the UK, Irish and International markets, K3 believes this acquisition will firmly embed retail into the Microsoft roadmap. It will secure the future for customers and provide a stable platform on which partners like K3 can continue to innovate with focused point solutions like the K3 Multi Channel suite.
Colin Bain, K3 BTG Managing Director said “Combining more than 10 years experience of working with LS Retail on their retail suite, a vibrant AX business and a deep understanding retail business means K3 are in a great position to continue building on our success and leverage the parallel investments by Microsoft and LS Retail across both the Microsoft Dynamics AX and NAV platforms.”
With their experience of the LS Retail software and both Dynamics platforms, K3 are in a unique position, able to advise customers on which is the most appropriate platform for their individual retail environment.
Having selected the correct Dynamics platform, as the foundation for their retail infrastructure, K3 can make sure retailers configure and implement their chosen solution to maximise the returns and lower the total cost of ownership.
