Home Retail Roadshows - Learn how Microsoft Dynamics can help Home Retailers.
A garden centre may not be an obvious business in which to find advanced technology, but Webbs of Wychbold is not a typical garden centre.
The objective of any buying and merchandise function is to achieve maximum
sales potential given the available spend, whilst at the same time manage
the selling environment in terms of product range and stock availability.
The larger the organisation in terms of product range and number of sales
outlets, the greater the challenge of balancing range availability.
The Merchandising module in Microsoft Dynamics allows for flexible and accurate allocation and replenishment of products to the store based on current stock levels, sales history and sales forecasts.
Processes are managed through replenishment worksheets which suggest order quantities based on parameters set within the system and information about the current and forecasted stock position.
Once created, Purchase Orders and transfer notes are held, pending approval, before being released to suppliers or your own distribution centres for fulfilment.
For complete flexibility, the Merchandising module also takes full account of any ad-hoc Purchase Orders and transfers between distribution centre and stores.
